About - Paul Griffiths

Paul picked up a Cricket Bat for the first time when he was 10 or 11, and is still playing cricket to a good standard today mainly for Tadworth Cricket Club in the Surrey Downs League. Football I am still active mainly training/coaching but also play 5 or 6 a side on a regular basis. 

Paul has played at the home of Surrey Cricket the Brit Oval (on the grass) representing the Surrey Downs League where he took two wickets, two catches and a run out.

Paul manages the Surrey Downs League Website at www.surreydowns.org having suggested to the league that they have a website back in 1999.

Paul is ECB UKCC Level 2, ECB ACO Umpire Level 1, ABSAT Coach and FA Level 2. Paul is currently completing his ECB ACO Umpire Level 2 and working towards his ECB UKCC Level 3 and will achieve before the season start in 2010.

Paul is Head Coach at Tadworth Cricket Club, but has also coached at/for Mynthurst, Newdigate, Caterham, Outwood, Sutton, Reigate Priory, Horley, Dorking and Nutfield and for Surrey Cricket but also Horley Town Football Club.
